OUR STORY

Family Fresh Farming

Kitchen of the Woods began not just as a farm, but as a family journey towards healing and discovery.

When our father was bedridden with a chronic illness, we searched tirelessly for natural ways to support his recovery. That search led us into the rich and fascinating world of medicinal and gourmet mushrooms.

After extensive research and cautious integration into his diet, we saw real results — mushrooms played a powerful role in easing his symptoms and supporting his eventual recovery.

However, while their benefits were profound, we found that access to high-quality, fresh mushrooms was surprisingly limited. That realisation sparked a new purpose: to grow them ourselves — not only to support our own family’s health, but to make these nutritional and culinary powerhouses available to others.

And so, Kitchen of the Woods was born.
